Governing Documents
CPTM was registered as a not-for-profit company (a Company Limited by Guarantee) in the United Kingdom, following a decision by Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) at their biennial Meeting in Auckland, New Zealand in 1995.
Our governing documents are our Articles of Association and our Code of Ethics. The Articles have been amended several times since, the most recent being in 2017.
The status of formal accreditation from the Commonwealth Secretariat lasted until 2004, but CPTM Smart Partnerships has continued to have ongoing relations with the Commonwealth countries since then.
Council of Patrons & Advisors
CEO
CPTM’s Founding CEO, Dr Mihaela Smith, sadly passed away on the 14 June 2022. She had led the organisation from its outset in 1995 and was very much CPTM’s leading light.
