Andrew Taussig is a member of the Board of Directors of CPTM, and very active in the organisation’s day to day activities. He worked for 30 years in the BBC where he eventually held the post of Director of Foreign Language Services in the BBC World Service [1996-2000].
He was a member of the Council of Chatham House [2002-2005], a Consultant to the British Council, and has contributed to a number of UNESCO projects including work on the future of endangered languages. He is a member of the International Academic Advisory Committee for the Asia Media, Information and Communication Centre [AMIC]. He co-authored a report, commissioned by the national regulatory authorities, on community radio in Thailand
Andrew has contributed articles to the Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television, Intermedia, Media Asia, and Commonwealth Broadcaster .
Andrew was a scholar at Winchester College. He has an MA from Oxford University, and a Ph.D. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.
