In 2007 CPTM expanded its Dialogues approach to create a new Inclusion Initiative – essentially targeted think-tanking – in three new thematic areas.
Participants included Governors of Central Banks, Heads of International & National Standards Bodies, technology entrepreneurs and subject matter experts. The sessions discussed practical ways for countries to engage in digital transformation and the new landscape of international trade practices.
Special emphasis was placed on drawing micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs more rapidly into the formal business landscape, and multiple policy recommendations resulted.
